Named after Peter’s favourite operatic play ‘Eight Songs for A Mad King’ 8 Songs, Shiraz is an elegant and distincly softer style of Barossa Shiraz. Fruit for the 2015 vintage was carefully chosen form low yielding vineyards within various subregious of the Barossa Valley.
The wine displays aromas of chocolate with dark plum and mocha. An abundance of rich , dark fruit on the palate combines seamlessly wtih soft , velvety tannins and beautifully long finish. This wine is drinking well now but has excellent cellaring potential.
