JC Tradicional Reposado Bottling Note
100% agave tequila from Jose Cuervo tequila, aged shortly in white oak barrels. The peppery notes from the Silver Tradicional are dialled back in the Reposado, in their place, you’ll find sweeter hints of caramel. Yum.
Aroma : An inviting aroma of vanilla, toasted wood, fruits, spices and cooked agave
Flavor : A rich combination of spice, fruit, wood, vanilla and subtle toasted hazelnuts
Finish : Soft and long-lasting with the warm flavors of vanilla and subtle spice rested in oak
Type : Tequila
ABV : 38%
Region : Mexico
Nose: Spiced fruit punch, with a touch of warming oak in the background. A few hints of zesty tropical fruit, too.
Palate: The Sherry cask-matured whisky really starts to take control on the palate, with milk chocolate and rain notes developing at its core. Lemon zest and shortbread. Finish: A lengthy finish, boasting caramel and rye bread. ABV : 46% |
Honest, unpainted, on an increased fortress, unfiltered. What else do you want for the money? The bite of young alcohols is certainly felt, but the concept of whisky is not about that. Quite a drink, nice. And in its price segment it is quite difficult to find a more worthy straight-line smoke box.Nose Open, understandable, at least a little flat, but very honest. Extinguished fire, smoke, nuances of medical motives, a little alcoholic, vanilla, caramel, lemons, yellow apples. Taste Sweet with a pleasant astringency, the degree of a good bite for the tongue, flat, straightforward. Smoke, zest of lemons, caramel, vanilla, the nuances of the Duchess drink. Finish Short, quickly fading, due to the fact that the smoky seems more complex than it really is, in the distance is bitterness. Smoke, astringency, burnt branches, malt, vanilla, caramel. |
