Tasting Notes
To The Eye
In appearance, each bottle has a crisp golden honey hue. What gives whisky its colour? The maturing process over 12 years as the liquid comes into contact with the barrel. The longer a whisky matures will determine its colour and flavour profile.
To The Nose
A Single Malt Scotch whisky with a distinctive aroma of crème brulee to the nose with a burst of citrus and then the signature nuttiness and green leafiness you would expect from Auchentoshan.
To The Tongue
A smooth whisky taste with sweet notes along with hints of tangerine and lime characterise this 12 year old.
To The End
This particular whisky offers a gingery and slightly dry finish with a pleasant, lingering nuttiness.
Country : Scotland
Type : Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Nose: Quite full. There are notes of honey and wax, resin and oak. There are notes of gentle smoke and cacao, hints of cooked fruit and a nutty note.
Palate: Sweet and rich. There are crisp notes of mixed peels, raisin and custard with a little zest and plenty of oak. Finish: Long with notes of oak and cocoa and sherried peels. ABV: 43% |

COLOUR: Golden amber. When you at first open the bottle, sherry and toffee notes float up. The Ballantine’s 17yo makes long thick oily fingers in the glass. NOSE: After the initial sherry sweetness, the nose brings notes of tropical fruit, pineapple and banana. There are hints of oak and cereal at the back. The nose is complex, luxurious and creamy. PALATE: The Ballantine’s 17yo is incredibly smooth. The palate brings notes of creamy oak and spice. There are hints of vanilla sweetness balanced with little bits of smoke. It is a complex whisky that reminds us of liquid gold. Drinking this Ballantine’s 17yo is an amazing experience. FINISH: Long and lingering with fruit and hints of sweetness, oak and spice at the end. This blended whisky is impressive. |
Nose: Quite sweet with gentle notes of vanilla and cut hay, a touch of fresh corn fields and a little cereal sweetness, like the bluegrass fields of Kentucky.
Palate: Good body with notes of toasty oak and all the requisite notes of vanilla and crème anglaise, a little spice and pepper with an acetone note.
Finish: Toasty oak and resin with a some sweetness.

Tasting Notes : Glen Grant 10 Year Old is an exemplary Scotch whisky. With a bright, golden colour and a bouquet of sweat pear and vanilla, this award winning single malt dances on the palate with soft and lively notes of orchard fruits and malt, and features a finish that is satisfyingly long and complex.
Colour : Bright gold
Aroma : Sweet pastry, pear drops with a hint of vanilla
Taste : Orchard fruit with rich malt notes
Finish : Long and complex

Nose: Cooked fruit, sherry, toffee, a rum-like quality and notes of Bas Armagnac distilled circa 1940.
Palate: Rich. Liqueur cherries in dark chocolate, more sherried fruit, ripe dark forest fruits, like a Black Forest Gateaux. Finish: Superb, led by thick dark treacle and toffee notes and chewy wooded notes, balanced with a green fruit edge. |
Surprisingly smooth and deliciously different, Jim Beam Apple is juicy but not overpowering.
And because it retains a rich bourbon core, it’s perfect for both whiskey fans and those looking for a refreshing new cocktail
