A superbly snazzy addition to Douglas Laing’s Rock Island collection! This edition of the coastal blended Scotch whisky is a combo of single cask single malts from Orkney, Arran, Jura, and Islay that were all treated to a finish in Tequila casks. Time to experiment with making whisky-based Palomas we reckon.
Tasting notes : Bursts of citrus and puffs of bonfire smoke, along with a crème brûlée creaminess. A lingering finish with brown sugar and toasted oak.

| Nose: Quite full. There are notes of honey and wax, resin and oak. There are notes of gentle smoke and cacao, hints of cooked fruit and a nutty note.
Palate: Sweet and rich. There are crisp notes of mixed peels, raisin and custard with a little zest and plenty of oak. Finish: Long with notes of oak and cocoa and sherried peels. ABV: 43% |
